Brief 6: Making a GIF

Brief 6: Making a GIF

In preparation for this session we were asked to draw a selection of drawings in our sketchbook related to movement, out of the many examples we were given i chose to focus on the movement of water. looking at examples of running taps or water flowing down a river I began to sketch out the various different aspects of movement in how water flows. Trying to capture each movement in order to create a Gif with my drawings.

After doing this I then began to go through the process of turning my drawings into a GIF, moving each individual drawing into a new layer and matching the sizes of the other drawings in the other layers so they aren't all different sizes.
Above is my first attempt at a GIF, although the sketches themselves make the tap look misshapen overall I am pleased with this as my first rough attempt before I moved on to more complicated versions of this rough sketch. Adding more dimension to it as a whole.
